Highlights

  • Formally Jason Quartermaine born in 1981, the illegitimate child of Alan Quartermaine and his mistress Susan Moore. He changed his name to Jason Morgan after a traumatic car accident in 1995 left him with permanent brain damage and total memory loss.
  • Jason then met Robin Scorpio, at the same time he began sleeping with Carly Benson.
  • Robin introduced Sonny to Jason where he began working as his enforcer.
  • The violence in Jason’s life was too much for Robin, they ended their relationship, she left town.
  • Carly asked Jason to lie and pretend to be the father of her son Michael. Carly developed PPD and skipped town leaving Jason to take care of her son.
  • Robin returned to town and outed the secret that AJ not Jason was Michael’s father.
  • Jason met a grieving Elizabeth Webber and the two began to become close friends.

  • He offered Sam McCall, Sonny’s mistress, $1million to leave PC (Jan 2004) and she declined, Sam became pregnant and Jason pretended to be the father so Sonny and Carly could be a family with their child Michael.
  • Sam lost the baby, Jason stayed by her side. The two fell in love and would eventually get engaged.
  • After AJ’s murder Jason began experiencing headaches with increased frequency from a doctor’s actions right after his accident and took experimental drugs. While they worked for a short period, his condition worsened and Robin Scorpio was called to town to help save him.
  • After Jason’s recovery, Sam was shot while in Jason’s arms, by Manny Ruiz, and he pushed her away and ended their engagement.
  • Jason killed Manny Ruiz during a struggle on the hospital roof (July 1006).
  • Jason went to reconcile with Sam and discovered her sleeping with her step-father, Ric (Aug, 2006). He returned home and shared a night of passion with long time friend Elizabeth Webber, who had found her husband sleeping with another woman also. They conceived a child, ‘Jacob Martin Spencer.’
  • At first learning of the pregnancy, Jason secretly hoped the baby was his and was saddened when Carly told him the baby was Lucky’s. Eventually, during the aftermath of the crisis at the Metro-Court, Jason found out Jake was his from Elizabeth. The pair decided to keep his paternity a secret, allowing the world to believe that the child was Lucky Spencer’s.
  • Jason was arrested for the murder of Lorenzo Alcazar (June 2007) and was held without bail. While he was in jail his son was kidnapped. He was released and found his son (July 2007), only to be sent away to a secure prison for breaking his terms of bail. Eventually he would be acquitted of the murder.
  • Jason, knowing he was in love with Elizabeth, decided to tell her on the same day she was on her way to talk to him about their relationship. On the way to meet, Elizabeth and the boys were held at gun point and threatened as leverage against Jason. He again pushed her away for her safety but searched for the attackers and found they had been hired by a bitter Sam McCall.
  • February 2008, After the Black and White Ball and the loss of his sister, Emily Quartermaine, Jason began secretly dating Elizabeth. The same day they were engaged, the danger hit too close to home and once again Jason decided they needed to split for her and their sons safety.
  • After young Michael Corinthos was shot and ended up in a permanent coma, Jason gave Sonny an ultimatum. He would allow the kingpin to hand over the mob business if he signed away his rights as a father to Michael and Morgan. Sonny agreed to his terms.
  • Jake was kidnapped again, this time by the Russian mob. After agreeing with Lucky to let Liz, the boys and Sam go to the cabin instead of a safehouse, Jake was taken. Jason eventually found his son and once again returned him to Liz’s waiting arms. They agreed they could never see each other again for the safety of the boys.
  • Jason’s roommate Spinelli, all around computer genius faced federal charges for his cyber-crimes on Jason’s behalf. Jason managed to cut a deal with Agent Rayner of the FBI, he would free the hacker if Jason delivered mob kingpin Anthony Zacchara.
  • During the biotoxin scare at GH, Jason kept Sonny from killing Anthony Zacchara while also trying to find the missing sphere of biotoxin and worry about his mother and Liz who were both affected by the toxin.
  • Once everyone was out of GH, it exploded but Anthony Zacchara was missing. Because of Jason’s deal with the FBI, Spinelli decided to leave town so Jason wouldn’t have to worry about him. Jason, with help from Maxie and Winifred, found him in California and brought him back to town.
